Basic white pearl stud earrings are extremely versatile. What's the difference between the freshwater and akoya pearls? The freshwater variety have thicker nacre so tend to be more durable. Their luster is softer, less brilliant than the akoya pearls, with the possible exception of the Freshwater Orient Pearls, which have a higher luster than any other freshwater pearls. The saltwater Akoya pearls naturally have a very brilliant luster with a mirror - like quality.
All of our pearl stud earrings are also available as dangle earrings. Simply check the optional box at the bottom of any of the detailed earring description pages. All are available with your choice of 14k white gold or 14k yellow gold findings in the two classic styles shown in the photos. French wire style is available upon request.
